The purpose of the SunCross Foundation Sober Living Environment is to provide up to 24 months of safe and supportive living for those with limited housing opportunities who are in need of a well balanced and supportive sober living environment.
Many find they still need more time in a dedicated sober living environment, before transitioning to a more permanent living situation or with family. This program is for those who have gone through a recovery program and want to move to the next step of integrating back into a community, family, and develop a recovery support system with accountability that leads to independence and stability.
SunCross Foundation Sober Living home is not a transitional housing program. It is a transitional living program. The staff and participants are empathetic, understanding and supportive to recovery and know what it takes to achieve success after recovering from drug and/or alcohol use. web
Initially, a minimum 90- day commitment is required with the potential for up to 24 months stay. During this participants/residents will gain tools to remove barriers to clean and sober living, regain control of life, and rebuild healthy habits in relationships, finances, spirituality, workforce skills, employment, health, and well-being.
